Hello! And welcome to our page 😍 I’m Jolene, mum of 4 from Essex. We have set up this blog as we absolutely love adventures and trying new things. So would love to share some of the stuff and things we love to do. We have a very busy household, we love to explore and try new things. We try to squeeze in as much as fun as possible. Check out our Instagram @jolenemycrazyfamilyof6
I am also a keen comper and have been now comping for 10 years. So will be share my winning story and tips along the way. I have set up @comping_mumma on Instagram as a place to record my amazing prizes.

These are our 4 children Stanley 9, Ivy 5, Charlie 3 and Emily 1. Stanley the eldest is crazy about nature and science! As well as a real passion for history. He says that he wants to be a marine biologist when he grows up. He loves bird watching, nerf gun fights, since experiments fishing and nature walks. We are letting him spread his wings a little and has his own Instagram @outdoor_stanley

Than these our Ivy, she’s also a lover of nature and outdoors. At the same time she’s a real “girly girl” loves anything pretty and sparkly She loves fashion and shopping. She not one to lone play but role play and dressing up is definitely her kinda thing. She loves getting glam wearing pretty dress, doing her hair and make up. However that does not stop her jumping in muddy puddles and making the most of the beautiful world around us.

Than these are cheeky Charlie. Charlie is 100% car obbessed mixed with a little bit of paw patrol. He’s very cheeky and incredibly strong willed. He don’t really strop if he don’t want to do something, he ain’t doing it! We have tried everything. The majority of the time he’s so easy going and full of smiles. He’s got a cracking sense of humour and always makes everyone smile. Perfect pictures with Charlie are never gone happen but than they show you his beaming character. Which we all adore.

Finally these our lockdown suprise Emily. We said we where done at 3, took all the baby stuff to the charity shop. A few weeks later had a little sickness bug, than hello baby 👶. She was a complete blessing at a time where everyone was locked away from friends and family. She brought our family joy and something to look forward to. She was born during the end of the 2nd lockdown in Essex. So quickly managed to meet everyone before we went in to a 3rd lockdown. Emily is a natural born Diva she’s been incredibly stronge willed since the day she was born. Emily definitely wasn’t the easiest baby but we would not change her in anyway. She had all of us around her 24/7 for the 1st 4 months or so had every need met 100% of the time (Except when Dad was at work). Without the usual rushing around she never just had to get on with it. So think that’s why she’s seemed harder work than the others. Plus she wasn’t the best sleeper as she snuggled with belly ache. Now we are a year and toddling about things have definitely got a lot easier. She actually let’s us put her down and sleeps 🤣 She’s definitely going to be a strong character, she’s determined and already has a cracking sense of humour. We also discovered that she had a cow protein allergy while Weaning. Which she was almost grown out of now. We put her tummy ache down to colic and so did the doctor because she had no other symptoms of a allergy. When we finally got to see a dietitian she said it was probably because the amount of cow protein in my breast milk was low, so reaction was low. We are now at a stage where she can eat most things but cheese, milk, cream and yogurt are still a no no!

Finally this is Dad, James who runs his own care company. He came when I was just coming out the other side of a tough patch in my life. For years I was made to feel I was worthless, that I was always doing something wrong and everything was always my fault. Having Stanley made me strong, he gave me real purpose and made me realise we deserved better than this. So fast forward a few months of being free this fit carer walked in to my life while at work. Single mum with baggage and 6 years older I thought he would never be intrested. A few weeks of flirting and than he finally asked for my number. Before inviting me on my perfect date snowboarding!! Turned out he couldn’t ski and got kicked off the slope 🤣 had to watch from the bar. He purely did it because it was something I loved. We have been inseparable ever since. We hate being a part so every minute we are together we try to make the most of. Yeah we niggle at each other sometimes as having this busy life can be stressful but I love him as much as I did when we 1st meet. I couldn’t ask for a more loving and encouraging partner. I would not change the craziness for anything I love my family ❤
